What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
