Lift mechanic • Hardin County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Hardin County, Tennessee. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $8,000 per project, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
