Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
