Now hiring: we are hiring a food delivery rider in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will be based at a courier and parcel hub. Ideal candidate: • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app You will capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset; weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots; check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out; collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift; handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding; collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end.
