Gas metal arc welder — Lokoja

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lokoja, Kogi State. The job is at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
