Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Shelby County, Alabama. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Day to day you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
