Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Island County, Washington. On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 6+ years on the tools preferred.
