Vacancy available: CNC mill setter-operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in St. Helens, England. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £2,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
