Vacancy available: concrete finisher (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Borough of Halton, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
