Metal caster wanted in Clarendon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Clarendon County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Rotating shifts.
