Gas commissioning technician — Yakima County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
