Acoustic insulation fitter wanted in Darlington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Darlington, England. The job is at a cold storage facility. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Day to day you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around £90 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
