Immediate opening: rebar fixer (South Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Berkeley County, South Carolina. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
