Join our team: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Sunderland, England. The job is at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane The role involves: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Six days a week, one day off.
