Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Tompkins County, New York. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 6+ years on the tools preferred.
