Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
