We are recruiting: chiller technician (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a chiller technician in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Day to day you will clean condenser and evaporator coils; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $7,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
