Halal butcher wanted in Tyrrell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
