Ladle pourer wanted in Bibb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Bibb County, Alabama. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
