Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (Wales)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Conwy, Wales. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
