Great opportunity: argon welder (North Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Oliver County, North Dakota. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
