Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in City and County of San Francisco, California. You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
