Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Crook County, Oregon. The job is on the moulding line. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
