Urgent requirement: foundry operative (Oregon)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Curry County, Oregon. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
