Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Emure, Ekiti State. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 1+ years on the tools preferred.
