Urgent requirement: quality assurance assistant (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Hamilton County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
