Press shop operator wanted in Clatsop County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
