Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lubbock County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
