Cnc production machinist — Chemung County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Chemung County, New York. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
