We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
