Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
