Refrigeration and AC technician • Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. You should have: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds The role involves: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
