Great opportunity: floor screeder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a floor screeder in Garrard County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
