Join our team: reinforcement fitter (Arkansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Mississippi County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
