Health and safety supervisor — Ngor-Okpala

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
