Urgent requirement: steam press operator (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Laclede County, Missouri. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
