Urgent requirement: cnc lathe operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Jones County, Texas. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
