Fry cook wanted in Sunderland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fry cook in Sunderland, England. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Rotating shifts.
