Single needle operator wanted in James City County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in James City County, Virginia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation.
