GTAW welder — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Adams County, Washington. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
