Refrigeration service engineer wanted in Houghton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Houghton County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Clean condenser and evaporator coils 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
