Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day-to-day duties: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Full-time, day shift. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
