Mobile crane operator • Borough of Bury, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Borough of Bury, England. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins £1,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
