Machinist wanted in Bay County

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Bay County, Michigan. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Six days a week, one day off.
