Reinforcement fitter • Beaverhead County, Montana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Beaverhead County, Montana. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
