Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Elk County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
