Now hiring: we are hiring a roofing technician in Onondaga County, New York. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates What we are looking for: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
