Aluminium TIG welder — City of Hampton

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in City of Hampton, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off.
