Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Rockwall County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day to day you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
