Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
